Last year more than 3,000 dogs, cats, birds and rabbits were adopted from the Seattle Animal Control. The shelter offers low-cost spay and neuter clinics and doubles as Seattle Animal Control, which provides pet licenses (all dogs, cats and pot-bellied pigs need one) and enforces animal cruelty laws.
